What are donations used for?
Of course, as the "Rescue Runners" name implies, creating opportunities to run & walk with shelter pups is our primary function. However, the issue of animal welfare is a much larger problem in our city, and it is impossible not to try to figure out any other ways we can help.

Thanks to donations from the community, our scope of work has broadened over the last couple years to now include Doggy Day Out opportunities for shelter pups, providing supplies & support for fosters or adopters who open their home to "At Risk" or "long timer" dogs waiting at the shelter, and Spay/Neuter assistance for community members who want to be a part of reducing pet overpopulation in our area, but are not financially able to cover the full cost of surgery for their dog.

We are a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, completely run by volunteers, so all donations go directly to support these efforts for the pups. Donations links are provided at the top of this page if you feel inclined to contribute either with a monetary donation, or by purchasing supplies from our Amazon wish list.

We are ever so grateful for your support!
