DOGGY DAY OUT FIELD TRIP GUIDE
Thank you for volunteering your time to help a shelter pup! Please review the links above & read through the details provided for a successful Doggy Day Out. The pups participating in this outing are housed at different shelter locations, so morning pick ups will be at 8am @ 501 E. Mills Ave and 8:30am @ 9068 Socorro Rd. Return drop off will be at 4pm at the same location of pick up. Overnight options are available, AND ENCOURAGED, if you would like to spoil your assigned pup a little longer. Return drop off for "overnights", is Sunday at noon. You will be notified of your pick up time & location on Friday evening by text message, so please provide a contact number that can receive messages. The idea of the Doggy Day Out is for the dogs to get a chance to decompress from the shelter, and not to be placed in stressful situations like meet & greets with new animals. So, if you plan to take your pup to your home at any time throughout the day or for overnight, please make sure that you are able to secure any personal pets in a different area of the home throughout the visit.
