Rescue Runners is a program initiated in El Paso, Texas, to recruit volunteers to help run and walk shelter dogs. The shelter environment is a very stressful place, so getting the dogs out for some fun, exercise, and enrichment, allows them an opportunity to showcase their personality outside of the kennel, leading to increased fostering & adoptions.
